Arrival at Katunayake (Colombo) International Airport and greeting by one of our experienced drivers, with a transfer to Colombo. A City tour of Colombo: Independence Square, Galle Face Green, Gangaramaya Temple, Victoria Park, Town Hall, etc.
Overnight in Colombo
A stop at the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawella en route to Habarana.
A visit to the famous Sigiriya Rock. Stroll through King Kasyapa's pleasure garden and climb to an ascent of 150m. On the way view the beautiful and quite well preserved frescoes, dating from the 05th century.
Overnight stay in Habarana.
A Morning departure to the medieval ruins of Pollonnaruwa, a unique ancient city dating back to the 12th century. Walk among the remains of the Royal Palace, Gal Potha and the statues of the enlightened Buddha's in Gal Vihara.
After, On the way back South, visit the cave temple of Dambulla. These five caves, housed in granite, date from the first century
Overnight in Kandy.
A visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth), and a visit to the National gardens of Peradeniya.
Thereafter a drive to the Nuwaraeliya district, where you can visit a Tea Plantation and Tea factory. From here we return to Colombo on the Kitulagala Route (famous for the 1957 Oscar-winning film "The Bridge on the River Kwai").
The tour ends with a transfer to Colombo Airport (Katunayake).

An early morning safari at Udawalawe National Park, one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see herds of elephants. A transfer to Talalla, a dreamy, golden sandy beach over a mile long - home to Surya Lanka Ayurveda Beach Resort.
Drive along the old coastal road to Galle and its ancient Dutch Fort. Walk along the fortifications with spectacular views of the Lighthouse and the sea, shop at its upmarket boutique hotels or simply walk along its quaint cobblestoned streets.
Next return on the freeway to Colombo.
The tour ends with a transfer to Colombo Airport.
